International prospect privacy notice

Who is responsible

PureEnergy Ventures (Pty) Ltd, trading as PureEnergy Systems (registration 2024/675073/07), is responsible for the business-contact processing described here. Our Information Officer is Imaad Fakier. Contact privacy@pureenergy.systems or +27 72 042 4584. Our business/service postal address is 184 Upper Buitenkant Street, Oranjezicht, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa. This is a correspondence/service address, not a public walk-in invitation.

Why we use professional contact information

PureEnergy operates from South Africa and has no establishment or representative outside South Africa. The services in this programme are supplied to corporate employers and business customers. A named employee or officer is contacted only as a professional representative of that business. We do not offer individual or employee subscriptions, individual training, or personal productivity services through this programme.

For an authorised prospecting route, we assess a company's fit for our business services and identify one relevant professional contact route. We may make a single request for permission to send email about workflow analysis, workflow automation, operational reporting and related implementation support, but only when the recipient-country conditions and our South African obligations permit that request.

We do not treat a public work email, a provider result or silence as express marketing consent. If you decline or do not answer our once-only request, we do not send a reminder or marketing. An affirmative reply is recorded and checked before any separately authorised communication. You may object or withdraw at any time.

We use limited professional information: name where applicable, employer, current role or corporate function, work email, workplace country and state/province where needed, the source and collection date, address-verification result and minimal contact/consent/objection history. A functional company mailbox is not represented as a named person unless the attribution is independently supported. We do not need private email, home information, sensitive personal details, browser history or tracked email opens for this work.

Where the information comes from

Sources may include an employer's published contact page, an authorised business publication or a professional contact provider such as Hunter, where the particular country's rule allows that source. The message identifies its precise source and any provider used. We record why the source is permitted and whether the address and business role are current. A provider does not establish consent or legal eligibility by itself.

South African contacts retain the authenticated conservative first-party-source requirement. Other jurisdictions have their own tests. Canada and Australia require the relevant consent or exact qualifying publication/inference conditions before a consent-request email. Some European corporate routes allow defined professional or corporate-function communication; other classes require prior consent or an actual qualifying customer relationship and are not used for cold outreach. We do not apply one country's permission to another.

South African processing is governed by POPIA. Proportionate professional research relies on the applicable lawful processing and indirect-collection conditions, including a documented legitimate-interest assessment where appropriate. The one-time approach for consent is separately controlled by section 69; it is not a general licence to market.

Where UK or EEA data-protection law applies to the activity, the limited professional-contact research relies on a documented legitimate-interest assessment, subject to your interests and rights. Local electronic-marketing requirements are assessed independently. Consent is used where required, and processing necessary to keep refusal/suppression and compliance evidence is limited to that purpose. A company's permission under an electronic-communications rule does not eliminate a named individual's privacy rights.

Providing marketing consent is optional. Refusal does not affect an existing service, entitlement or other relationship. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you through this prospecting process.

Service providers and international processing

Our canonical prospect and decision records are controlled by PureEnergy in South Africa. Approved suppliers may support professional research and verification, email transport and monitoring, privacy correspondence and notice hosting. Hunter supports permitted research/verification; Google supports Gmail sending and monitoring; Zoho supports the privacy mailbox; the authorised website host supports this notice. Suppliers may have processing locations or subprocessors outside South Africa and your country.

Before a new processing route is activated, the applicable supplier, security and cross-border safeguards must be approved and evidenced, including POPIA section 72 protection and any applicable UK/EEA transfer mechanism. We do not treat a supplier's location or public privacy policy as proof of a lawful transfer. You can request the relevant recipient, location and safeguard information, and a copy or description of applicable safeguards, from privacy@pureenergy.systems, subject to legitimate confidentiality/redaction.

We do not sell prospect profiles or share them for cross-context behavioural advertising. This programme does not use tracking pixels or feed raw prospect information into Flight Deck telemetry. Access is restricted to authorised processing and evidence needs.

How long information is kept

Research contact profiles that are not contacted are deleted or de-identified after 30 days unless a current lawful operational need is documented. If a once-only request receives no consent, the ordinary contact profile is deleted or de-identified within 90 days after that request. Where a shorter information or retention deadline applies, that earlier deadline controls.

Minimal protected fingerprints, dates and reason records are retained for as long as necessary to honour refusals, prevent a repeated once-only approach and meet accountable recordkeeping requirements. We review continuing necessity at least annually. Necessary restricted legal-claim or regulatory evidence may have a different documented retention need. Deleting the minimum refusal record could cause unwanted recontact; we do not use it to restart marketing.

Access, correction, objection and complaints

Reply "unsubscribe", tell us in other clear words that you do not want contact, or write to privacy@pureenergy.systems. We stop further marketing attempts promptly across the relevant PureEnergy routes. No login, payment, explanation or unrelated personal information is required. Our reply/opt-out routes remain available for at least 60 days after a message.

You may ask what professional information and sources we hold, request correction or deletion, object to the processing, or withdraw consent. Where applicable you also have rights to restriction, portability and other local rights. We use proportionate identity checks only where needed to protect the information. We respond within the applicable legal period; urgent objections block further sending while other requests are resolved.

You may complain to South Africa's Information Regulator at https://inforegulator.org.za/ or the regulator responsible for your applicable jurisdiction, including the UK ICO, an EEA national supervisory authority, Canada's federal or provincial privacy regulator or Australia's OAIC. You need not complain to us first to exercise a statutory complaint right.
